Stackova respects the privacy of users of the SnapCut application. This Privacy Policy explains how the application accesses information and files, what information may be processed or collected, why it is used, when it may be shared, and what choices and rights are available to users.
By using SnapCut, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. Where applicable law requires consent, SnapCut will request that consent before processing the relevant data.
- Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to SnapCut and its features and services, including video editing, trimming, merging, filters, effects, text, audio, recording, exporting, media importing, and any online processing or content-download feature made available through the application.
This Policy does not govern third-party websites, applications, or services that you may access through links or integrations within SnapCut.
3. Information and Data Processed by SnapCut
A. Photos, Videos, and Audio Files
SnapCut may request access to photos, videos, and audio files stored on your device so that you can:
Select media for a project.
Edit videos, audio, and images.
Add music and sound effects.
save projects and drafts.
Export completed videos to your device.
Share files through applications selected by you.
Granting media access does not mean that SnapCut automatically uploads your entire photo or video library to Stackova servers.
Media files are processed locally on your device whenever reasonably possible. A file is transmitted to an external service only when you intentionally use a feature that requires an internet connection, such as cloud processing, certain artificial-intelligence features, cloud backup, link importing, or sharing through another service.
Appropriate information or permission will be presented before a feature transfers selected media outside the device.
B. Projects, Drafts, and Output Files
SnapCut may generate and store the following on your device:
Project information.
Drafts.
Thumbnails.
Preview files.
Temporary files.
Exported videos, images, and audio.
Local preferences and settings.
These files generally remain on your device until you delete them through SnapCut or your file manager, clear the application’s data, or uninstall the application, depending on the storage location and operating-system behavior.

When you use an available link-importing or content-download feature, SnapCut may process:
The URL submitted or shared with the application.

Stackova does not receive your complete payment-card details. We may receive limited information such as subscription status, purchase status, the product purchased, and information required to activate or restore paid features and prevent fraud.
- Device Permissions
SnapCut may request the following permissions, depending on the features you use.
Photos and Videos
Used to select, edit, and save media. SnapCut may use the operating system’s photo picker or request media access depending on the Android version and the feature involved.
Music and Audio
Used to select audio files and add music or sound effects to projects.

Used to display export, download, or processing progress and notify you when an operation is complete.

Technical Service Providers
A version of SnapCut may include services such as:

These providers may process device, usage, advertising, and diagnostic information under their own privacy policies and only to the extent required to provide their services.
Applications Selected by You
When you use the share function, the operating system sends the selected file to the application or service chosen by you. Further processing is governed by that third party’s privacy policy.

The free version of SnapCut may display advertising provided by third parties such as Google AdMob.
Depending on your location, settings, and consent, advertisements may be:
Personalized.
Non-personalized.
Limited.
Provided only through technical ad-delivery functions.
An advertising provider may process advertising identifiers, IP addresses, device information, interactions with advertisements, and diagnostic information to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud.
Where legally required, SnapCut will provide a consent form or privacy-options interface through which you can manage advertising-related choices. You may also manage or reset your advertising identifier through your device settings.

- Accounts and Account Deletion
SnapCut does not currently require an account to use its core editing features.
If an account system is introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated, and SnapCut will provide a clear method to request deletion of an account and its associated data both from within the application and through an external web resource.
The absence of an account does not prevent you from requesting deletion of personal information submitted through customer support or a connected service.
- Children’s Privacy
SnapCut is not primarily directed to children under the age of 13 or the applicable minimum age in a user’s jurisdiction.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child below the applicable age without the legally required consent. A parent or guardian who believes that a child has submitted personal information may contact us to request review and deletion.
