Cinova by Stackova · Effective 8 September 2026 · Package com.stackova.cinova

Cinova is a local media player for Android. It does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics SDKs, crash-reporting SDKs, or social login.

1. Data we collect
Cinova does not collect, sell, rent, or transmit personal information to Stackova or to any third party. Playback happens on your device. Files and URLs you open remain under your control.

2. Data stored only on your device
App preferences (languages, gestures, decoder and UI options)
Optional last playback position so you can resume a file
Optional remembered folder or URL shortcut on the home screen
A temporary media notification while playback continues in the background
You can delete this data at any time by clearing the app’s storage in Android Settings.

3. Network use
Internet access is used only when you open a network stream, remote file, or subtitle. Cinova does not “phone home.” Cleartext HTTP is permitted only so you can play media you choose on a local network or HTTP URL.

4. Permissions
Storage, media, notification, and foreground-service permissions exist so Cinova can read files you select and keep audio/video running when the app is not in the foreground. Full permission justifications are listed in the store package permissions document.

5. Children
Cinova is a general media utility and is not directed at children. It does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

6. Changes
If this policy changes, the updated text will replace this page with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
